Abstract (English)
Investigates whether the controls on development in Ontario’s Greenbelt Plan and the Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe have resulted in increased commuting distance and number of commuters that cross the Greenbelt. It then considers the implications of increased commuting in terms of urban sustainability.
