High System Users linked to T1 Family File – Census of the Population Long-Form – National Household Survey
2006 - 2015
Overview
Summary
A cohort of higher system users and controls drawn from the non-higher system user population was created using the Dynamic Cohort of Complex High System Users algorithm, developed by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). This cohort was based on data from the Discharge Abstract Database, the National Ambulatory Care Reporting System and the Ontario Mental Health Reporting System (OMHRS) for fiscal years 2011/2012 to 2014/2015. The cohort was linked to the T1 Family File (2006 to 2014), the 2006 Census of the Population Long-Form and the 2011 National Household Survey.
