Summary
The Staffing and Non-partisanship Survey is conducted every two years for the Public Service Commission of Canada. The survey targets all departments and agencies under the Public Service Employment Act (PSEA), with no minimum number of employees required. The SNPS gathers information from employees, managers or supervisors and staffing advisors, on key aspects of the staffing system (e.g., merit), including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. As in previous years, the survey also gathers critical information on employees' understanding of their rights and responsibilities regarding political activities and non-partisanship.
