With the goal of establishing and nurturing critical links between policy makers and external researchers in support of evidence-based public policy, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research in partnership with the Health Canada Strategic Policy Branch, the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research and the British Columbia Ministry of Health offer a short-term fellowship for highly qualified individuals who are engaged in health research at PhD, post-doctoral and independent researcher levels. Successful applicants will gain the opportunity to participate in and contribute to the policy making processes while learning first-hand about the science policy interface.
