Are you passionate about Canadian public policy? Do you love data and dream about statistics? Here is your chance to compete in a national analytics challenge and to influence regional and national public policy.

What is it?

A national competition designed to encourage Canadian graduate students to use confidential microdata in their research and to develop innovative, evidence-driven policy solutions.

Why you should apply

Analyze exclusive Statistics Canada data in the Research Data Centre (RDC).

Receive paid travel and accommodation to attend a finalists’ event in Ottawa in spring 2020

Get unique SAS training and insights from highly qualified mentors.

Present your results and discuss your findings with a distinguished panel of judges

Win one of the prizes that will be awarded to the top three presentations ($1500 for 1st place; $1000 for 2nd place; or $500 for 3rd place)
