In partnership with CHNET-Works!, we are launching a new series of webinars featuring CRDCN research results on health issues. Logan McLeod will be our first speaker on November 15. Scott Patten will follow in January and Amélie Quesnel-Vallée in February. More details and registration here.
On November 15, Logan will present the results of his research using unique linked administrative data set from Ontario, to quantify and decompose income-related inequalities in the use of general practitioners and specialist services. He will more specifically examine the case of asthmatics and diabetics. This research was carried out as part of “The McMaster Pilot Project”, an agreement worked out between the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, Statistics Canada and the McMaster Research Data Centre (RDC) to link administrative and survey data for research purposes.
