CRDCN Executive Director honoured by McMaster

Today our Executive Director, Dr. S. Martin Taylor, was awarded an honourary doctorate from McMaster University’s Faculty of Science for his contributions to: environmental and community health; to the department of geography at McMaster University as a former faculty member and professor; and as acting director, vice-president (research) and chair of geography at the Institute of Environment and Health.
As many know, his leadership at the Canadian Research Data Centre Network has established the CRDCN as a Major Science Initiative by the Canadian Foundation for Innovation. In addition, his tireless work has mobilised the resources needed for the construction of a new virtual data network, launching later in 2022.
On behalf of all staff and members of the network, we wish Dr. Taylor heartfelt congratulations for his contributions to academic research, data research and policy over the course of his distinguished career.
