Ahead of the 2023 Canadian Sociological Association (CSA) Annual Meeting, the association has issued a call for abstracts with a deadline of January 31, 2023.
The abstracts are in relation to the session “Research on LGBTQ2+ communities using survey and administrative data” and the objective of the session is to highlight how survey and administrative data can be leveraged to study issues related to sex, gender and sexuality.
Specifically, the organizers are encouraging submissions that draw connections between data and measures used, as well as the theoretical, empirical and methodological implications of using such datasets.
You can find the full call for abstracts here: https://www.csa-scs.ca/conference/call-for-abstracts/
You can also reach out to the session organizer Chih-lan Winnie Yang or the co-organizers Xavier St-Denis and Grant Gibson.
