Knowledge Mobilization Copy

CRDCN supports the research community in understanding how to effectively engage in knowledge mobilization, knowledge transfer, knowledge translation, and evidence-based policy, which have become increasingly important in research funding programs and public policy mandates over the course of the past five decades in Canada and internationally. From the conventional approach of hosting webinars and conferences, to facilitating collaboration at the research-policy nexus, to the launch of “CRDCN research-policy snapshots,” CRDCN supports members of the CRDCN research community in maximizing the benefits of research as a public good.

CRDCN hosts webinars regularly to showcase research that uses RDC data. In 2021, CRDCN also began collaborating with two Canadian scholarly journals — Canadian Public Policy (CPP) and the Canadian Journal of Economics (CJE) — to host webinars for forthcoming or recent articles being published by the CRDCN research community.

CRDCN annual conference Visit CRDCN21 Website

The CRDCN annual conference is held in October/November. Each year we bring together researchers and policy-makers from across the 30+ centres/universities to share their research and advance dialogue at the research-policy nexus. Although we held our conference virtually in 2020-2021, future conferences will be offered using a hybrid model at partner universities across the country. To see the programming and material from past conferences, please see below.
