This report summarizes the main knowledge and data gaps identified during the 2011 annual conference of the Canadian Research Data Centre Network (CRDCN) on the policy impact of an aging population which was held in Edmonton, Alberta in October 2011. This conference engaged researchers, policymakers and practitioners from across Canada in a critical examination of the many health, social and economic issues arising from population aging

Ce rapport résume les principales lacunes en ce qui concerne les données et la recherche sur le vieillissement de la population au Canada relevées lors de la conférence annuelle du Réseau canadien des centres de données de recherche tenue à Edmonton, Alberta en octobre 2011. Cette conférence réunissaient des chercheurs, des décideurs et des praticiens de tout le Canada pour examiner les principaux enjeux socio-économiques et de santé liés au vieillissement démographique.
