Statistics Canada is the national statistical office. The agency ensures Canadians have the key information on Canada’s economy, society and environment that they require to function effectively as citizens and decision makers.

The Alberta Centre for Labour Market Research (ACLMR) is the essential destination for unbiased, high-quality labour market information from twenty-eight researchers who are faculty across six Alberta-based universities. ACLMR is designed as a sandbox to help connect our research to the needs of all interested parties. 

The Productivity Partnership aims to engage researchers interested in studying Canada’s productivity challenge. The project is funded by a SSHRC Partnership Development Grant. The project’s goal is to increase the flow of existing knowledge (especially firm and workplace data), and add to existing research capacity by assisting students and bringing together thinkers from academia, public and private sectors. 

The Prentice Institute conducts research and analysis integrating demographic changes and how those changes impact ecosystems, health, and the economy.  Our work provides evidence for the development of policy options in addressing some of the difficult challenges facing the world.
